CGI campers launched their creativity into full gear today during the first day of Creative Problem Solving. Working in teams and individually, campers will spend the week stretching their imaginations and using creative thinking skills.

The tasks they will be given are various brain-busting creative challenges, including timed verbal problems, hands-on building initiatives and exercises aimed at developing diverse methods to solve problems.

The campers jumped right in as soon as they arrived this morning. They were each given thirty notecards and had to build the tallest tower they could. Once campers built their towers to extreme heights, a new aspect was added in. Instead of just focusing on height, they now had to try to make it tall and strong. They soon realized the designs they used for the first tower had to be re-imagined. Just as they will do all week, campers used some awesome creative thinking skills to complete the designs.
