Little scientists invaded CGI this week in Ooey, Gooey, Kablooey! This program is designed for young campers to explore hands-on science fun with entertaining and educational experiments.
They are spending the week in the world’s most fun science lab! Campers will test different mixtures to make ooey, gooey creations. They will investigate how the materials affect the world around them and even get to take part in some explosive and safe experiments.
Today, campers used pinch-paint, a gel-like substance that comes in a variety of colors, to explore how the primary colors all come together to create the whole rainbow. They started out slow and began seeing orange and green but as they kept mixing, they made dozens of shades of color.
Yesterday they explored colors using bubbles. They added dye to bubble mix and blew the bubbles onto paper to create a unique piece of art. Campers have loved getting a little messy and learning lots this week in Ooey, Gooey, Kablooey!
