At Art and Nature, campers fuse the great outdoors with imagination to create art using resources from the world around us. The nature mural in the classroom continues to grow from the first items they gathered on their nature walk on Monday. The campers have brought in flowers, leaves, and twigs from home to contribute to the long mural. This week, the campers have also worked on flower presses and painted sticks to create wands.

Today, they thought outside the box and used various fruits and vegetables in lieu of paint brushes. Ms. Hartman helped the campers to use their imaginations as they used peppers as petals and citrus fruits as suns. The campers created some outstanding artwork!
