Campers enrolled in the Pastels to Pallets course within the Center for Growth and Innovation program (CGI) are learning all about Impressionism and some of the most famous 19-century artists that ever lived.
Throughout the week, campers have studied and imitated the works of artists like Vincent Van Gogh, Claude Monet, and Paul Cezanne. Today’s project was all about Mary Cassatt who was a painter that often created images of the social and private lives of women. To honor her work, campers crafted their very own 19-century hats out of construction paper, tulle, and tissue paper.
Look how fancy these campers are!
