Lunch is served!
Campers participating in the Vetri Chef Academy course as a part of The Center for Growth and Innovation (CGI) put their skills to the test and cooked a family-style meal for their family and friends this afternoon. In the past five days, campers have expanded their talents in the kitchen thanks to Chef Sarah and Chef Maddie from The Vetri Foundation, which was established by renowned chef Marc Vetri to help kids experience the connection between healthy eating and healthy living.
Today’s meal was all about the dough. The spread that campers served consisted of roasted vegetables, focaccia bread, peach cobbler and shortbread biscuits with lemon curd and a blueberry compote. Campers were excited to show their families how much they learned and have a tasty plate of food to end their day.
