CAMPS OFFERED WEEK OF AUGUST 3-7
– 9th Grade Readiness, grade 9
This course is intended to help students with the rigor of the high school day, preparing them to use their time in and out of school efficiently and practicing behaviors to help them make the most of each classroom experience.
– Fashion Pattern & Sewing, grades 5-10
Under the direction of The Handwork Studio team, choose from more than 20 Simplicity Creative Group patterns and bolts of tempting fabrics to bring style and ease to your creations.
– Fiber Arts and Handwork Creations, grades 1-7
Guided by The Handwork Studio team, knit, crochet, hand stitch, and machine sew to make the most wildly imaginative handwork creations.
– AB/BC Pre-Calculus, grades 9-12
This course will rigorously introduce the topics that are covered in BC PreCalculus but not covered in AB PreCalculus
– Roller Minecraft, grades 3-8
In this exciting camp, learn about the physics of roller coasters while exploring kinetic and potential energy, and centripetal force.
– Extreme Minecraft, grades 6-12
For intermediate and advanced level campers, this camp will focus on adventure design and Redstone scripting with Tekkit and Feed the Beast mod packs.

– Writer’s Studio, grades 8-11
Led by a team of talented and passionate writers, students will be encouraged to seek out individual wellsprings of creativity, and to transform them into vibrant poems and short stories.
– Jr. Chef Academy, grades 3-8
For five fun-filled days, campers will experience a world of hands-on culinary exploration with their fellow peers and experienced Vetri Chefs.
– AB/BC Pre-Calculus, grades 9-12
This course will rigorously introduce the topics that are covered in BC PreCalculus but not covered in AB PreCalculus
– Robotics 101, grades 4-7
This adventure provides you with the necessary skills to design and build a robot using LEGO® MINDSTORMS®. Your goal is to program your robotic machine to perform project-oriented tasks and challenges.

– Digital Video Production, grades 4-10
Experience acting, directing, screenwriting, producing, and camera work while learning digital filmmaking.
– Pastels to Pallets, grades 2-5
Work with Art Teacher Claudia Parra and experience a variety of art elements such as line, color, shape and narrative.
– Minecraft for Kids, grades 1-4
Build your own virtual reality in a sandbox-like environment by using iPads to challenge your mind and create your own adventures.
– The Science of Roller Coasters with Minecraft, grades 3-8
