Campers participating in the Animal Advocates course as a part of The Center for Growth and Innovation (CGI) spent the entire week with representatives from The Philadelphia Zoo. Each day, campers learned about different kinds of zoo animals and their specific habitats, physical features and defense mechanisms.
They were visited by each animal class throughout the week with the exception of primates. This afternoon, campers got to meet a Legless Lizard, a Prehensile Tailed Skink (below left), and an African Ball Python (above). Campers loved learning about all of the different kinds of creatures!
