The Outdoor Leadership program offers campers the opportunity to enjoy the sunshine and learn more about surviving the wilderness. This week, Coach Kim is challenging campers to figure things out on their own, just like they might if they were lost outdoors without many resources. Their first challenge – learning how to pitch a tent!

Campers were given the tent, six stakes, a rain-fly, and a 45-minute block of time to successfully set-up their tent. They were also given three lifelines, including one question to their coaches, one guest skill or helping hand from their coaches, and a third lifeline of their choice.

It took campers about 34 minutes to complete the challenge, and the tent is securely standing!
