The Center for Growth and Innovation is learning all about robots this summer! One of this week’s most popular engineering classes is Junior Robotics. The class teaches campers how to build mobile bots and program them to move, make sounds, and take direction from a human.
Campers’ robots are made out of Lego pieces, small magnetic motors and gears, and connecting wheels of all sizes. Each robot has a port that connects to a computer, and can then be controlled virtually by each of the campers. After working hard to create their robots, campers had a great time using them!
