Campers participating in this week’s “Pet Palooza” Fiber Arts and Handworks class are learning how to use a needle and thread and also a sewing machine to make all kinds projects. The oldest campers are busy cutting fabric patterns to construct their own pleated dresses and rompers.
Younger campers have been challenged to create their favorite three dimensional pets out of fabric, felt, and stuffing. Each camper is learning how to use a needle and thread to sew materials together. Some campers are also making woven turtles, felt caterpillars and knit monsters using the spiral knitting weaver!
