Students had the chance to create their own original publications of fiction and poetry.

Throughout the week, students added their finished poems and short pieces of fiction to a word document. The last day of class, we put all our finished work into chapbook form, with original images and illustrations decorating the covers. The titles of these chapbooks reflect the theme of the work that emerged for each student throughout the week.

So much thought and care went into the construction of these beautiful publications. We’re so proud of the way these turned out. Great job to the students of week one! We look forward to more creative and inspiring work from students in week two.
